Press Release, West High Yield Announces Final Closing and Completion of Private Placement

Calgary, Alberta--(Newsfile Corp. - February 10, 2021) - West High Yield (W.H.Y.) Resources Ltd. (TSXV: WHY) ("West High Yield" or the "Company") announces the closing (the "Final Closing") of the final tranche of its previously announced private placement (the "Private Placement") for 425,000 units (the "Units") at a price of CAD$0.20 per Unit for gross proceeds of CAD$85,000.00. Each Unit is comprised of one common share (the "Common Shares") and one Common Share purchase warrant (the "Warrants"). The Warrants expire 12 months from the date of issue and two (2) Warrants together with CAD$0.30 will entitle the holder to acquire one (1) additional Common Share of the Company. The Units issued on the Final Closing have a hold period to June 11, 2021.

Upon the completion of the Final Closing, the Company confirms that it has completed the Private Placement. Under the Private Placement, the Company issued a total of 1,302,500 Units for gross proceeds of CAD$260,500.00. No finder's fee was paid to any person in relation to the Private Placement. The proceeds of the Private Placement have been, and will continue to be, used for general corporate purposes and to fund completion of the Company's approved drilling program on the Company's Midnight Gold Claim located in the Rossland Gold Camp in British Columbia.
