AUX Resources is a gold-silver explorer with a commanding land position in BC’s Prolific Golden Triangle, one of the most mineralized regions in the world. AUX is committed to creating shareholder value by applying our geological expertise in the quest for large-scale discoveries.
AUX is focused on the Stewart Camp, at the southern end of the Golden Triangle with properties next to Scottie Resources, Ascot Resources and Pretium Resources. AUX owns 25,500 hectares of strategic claims, assembled over a 12-year period, in the largely-ignored southern end of the region and is embarking on one of the first comprehensive exploration and drilling programs there. Approximately 35 known mineral showings have been documented in AUX’s claims area, including five past-producing mining operations.
The Georgia project:
The company’s flagship Georgia Project is along trend from several huge gold projects, including the Brucejack mine (owned by Pretium Resources; NYSE: PVG) and the Premier Gold Project (owned by Ascot Resources; TSX: AOT). Brucejack has produced nearly one million ounces of gold since it began commercial operation in July 2017 and has estimated total mineral reserves of 4.2 million ounces of gold. The Premier Gold Project has total estimated mineral resources (indicated plus inferred) of 2.3 million ounces of gold equivalent.
Situated on the Portland Canal, 16 km from Stewart with access to a deep-water port in ice free tidewater. The Georgia Project hosts 7,900 ha of claims surrounding the past producing high-grade Au-Ag Georgia River Mine, which sits at the footwall of a major deformation zone. With over 1 km of relief hosting a large hydrothermal system, there is a tremendous opportunity for scale.
Independence and Silver Crown:
2,600 ha of strategically located claims with 13 mineral occurrences and highway 37A and major electrical transmission lines crossing the property. AUX’s Independence and Silver Crown Projects also include high concentrations of gold and silver. Independence surrounds the historic, high-grade Red Cliff gold mine and includes numerous historic silver mines.
The Silver Crown Property hosts at least 18 veins over 1.4 km of strike. Channel samples were taken every 40 metres during the 2020 field season in preparation for drilling during the 2021 field season.
